Alignment: Returning to the Rhythm God Set for You

December doesn’t just close the year — it clarifies it. It pulls your attention inward, slows the noise around you, and whispers the same question over and over:
“Are you aligned… or are you just moving?”
As the year winds down, many of us realize that we’ve been running on auto-pilot — managing grief, showing up for work, nurturing relationships, and pouring into everyone else while quietly drifting away from ourselves. Alignment is the invitation back home. It isn’t perfection. It isn’t aesthetics. It isn’t productivity.
Alignment is the space where your spirit, your purpose, your boundaries, and your truth finally stop fighting each other.
It’s the place where you don’t have to force anything — because everything that belongs to you simply fits.
This Month, I’m Leaning Into:
• Realignment — checking the places where I’ve drifted
• Re-centering — placing God back at the center of my decisions
• Release — letting go of what can’t go with me
• Reassurance — reminding myself that I am held, guided, and covered
• Restoration — inviting softness, clarity, and simplicity back into my routines
Even if this year stretched you, broke you open, or forced you to grow faster than you expected… you are still standing. And standing is alignment.
Breathing is alignment.
Choosing yourself again is alignment.
A Gentle Check-In for Your Week
Ask yourself:
- What feels heavy that God never asked me to carry?
- Where have I been moving out of fear instead of faith?
- What needs my presence—not my perfection?
- What boundaries need to be resealed?
- What is one thing I can realign today?
No matter where you start, alignment is a return — not a race.
If You’re Grieving…
December is a tender month. Grief often shows up between the to-do lists, the holiday lights, and the expectations. If you’re navigating loss, heartbreak, transition, or the quiet ache of missing someone:
You are not out of alignment. You are human.
Your tears, your pauses, and your soft moments are part of your becoming. This month, allow yourself to move gently — God honors your grief and your growth.
Let This Be Your December Declaration
“I choose alignment over everything.
What is meant for me will not require me to shrink, chase, hustle harder, or lose myself to keep it.
I am stepping into my next chapter aligned, covered, and prepared.”
