Preparing the Soil: The Courage to Align
Share
February 2, 2026 | Rooted in Love: Series Part 1
We often think of growth as the moment the flower breaks through the surface — the visible, beautiful bloom. But any gardener will tell you that the most important work happens in the dark, beneath the surface, in the quality of the soil.
As we enter this new month, our theme is Rooted in Love. Before we can grow toward the sun, we must first ensure we are planted in truth. Alignment isn’t about being perfect; it’s about making sure your external life matches your internal heartbeat. It’s about asking ourselves: Is the soil of my life rich with self-trust, or is it packed tight with the expectations of others?
The Work of Clearing
Healing begins with a clearing. To prepare our soil for February, we must have the courage to pull the weeds:
- The habits that quietly drain our energy
- The “yeses” that should have been “nos”
- The old stories that whisper we aren’t ready to bloom
Clearing isn’t punishment — it’s preparation.
This Week’s Intention
This week, I invite you to join me in the Quiet Bloom. Take a moment to sit in stillness. Ask your heart, “What do I need to let go of to feel more aligned?”
Don’t rush the answer. Let it rise slowly, like a seed finding its way toward the light.
We aren’t just surviving this season — we are becoming a sanctuary.
We are getting rooted.
We are choosing love.
Reflection Questions for Your Journal
- What part of my life feels crowded or out of alignment right now?
- If I trusted myself completely, what would my next step be?
- How can I create more stillness in my daily rhythm this week?
