🌱 The Power of Small Starts: Celebrating the Miracle of the Minimum

March 18, 2026 | The Emergence: Series Wisdom Wednesday

The Deception of the Bloom

We live in a culture that worships the harvest but ignores the sprout. We want the full tree, the shaded canopy, and the abundant fruit right now. But a sprout doesn't look like a tree. A sprout looks like a mistake to the untrained eye—it’s small, it’s fragile, and it’s barely an inch above the soil.

But here is the wisdom, Sacred Ones: The sprout is the hardest part.

The energy required to break through the surface of the soil is greater than the energy required to grow toward the sun. If you have made a "small start" this week—if you finally posted that idea, started that new morning worship, or even just cleared one shelf in your home—you have already done the heavy lifting.

The Miracle of the Minimum

"The Power of Small Starts" is about honoring the Minimum Viable Growth.

• You don't need a 60-minute prayer closet to have a spiritual life; you need 5 minutes of honest breath.

• You don't need a perfect business plan to be an entrepreneur; you need the courage to show one person what you’re working on.

• You don't need to be "healed" to be healthy; you just need to choose one nourishing thought today.

When we belittle our small starts, we are essentially telling the sprout it isn't "enough" because it isn't a tree yet. But the sprout is the tree; it’s just the tree in its most courageous form.

The Week 3 Pivot: From Perfection to Persistence

In this third week of The Emergence, your breakthrough might feel tiny. You might feel like you’re "not far enough along." Today, we shift our perspective:

1. The Small Anointing: When you use your Sacred Bloom or Glory tonight, don't rush. Focus on one small area—maybe just your temples or your wrists. Let that small act of care represent your commitment to the whole.

2. The Micro-Win: In your journal tonight, don't write a list of 10 goals. Write down one tiny thing you did today that pushed through the surface.

The Wisdom Reflection

Ask yourself today: Am I dismissing my miracle because it’s still in its 'small start' phase?

The sun doesn't just shine on the forest; it shines on the single blade of grass. You are worthy of the light exactly as you are—small, green, and growing.

🌱 Your Turn, Sacred One:

What is one “small start” you are committing to today?

Drop it in the comments or write it in your journal—then honor it like it matters… because it does.

If this spoke to you, share it with another woman who needs permission to grow at her own pace.

And meet me Thursday night in the Quiet Bloom Sanctuary as we ground ourselves in the courage to keep rising.

You are not behind. You are breaking through 🪷
