The Connection

A sophisticated interpretation of The Unbound Cinch, ASCENDANT was designed for versatility. A curated palette of powder blue, taupe, cream, brown, slate, and warm cognac allows contrasting plaids, micro-patterns, and solids to coexist without becoming busy.

The result is neutral without being predictable—equally at home layered casually with denim or elevated with tailored trousers, a crisp button-down, blazer, or dress.

The Design Details

The Composition: Five new neckties are intentionally layered to create an asymmetric, corset-inspired silhouette. Different widths, textures, plaids, checks, and solids create dimension while maintaining a cohesive neutral palette.

The Cinched Waist: The ties cross and wrap through the center, defining the waist and creating the signature Unbound silhouette without traditional corsetry or sewing.

The Closures: Velcro closures allow for easy on-and-off wear, while the adjustable construction can be cinched closer to the body for a more defined fit.

The Signature: A powder-blue tie carries the custom Dr. Nakia | Sacred Elegance signature, finished with a delicate crystal edge at the point. It is the only added adornment—allowing the craftsmanship and contrasting textiles to remain the focus.

The Styling: Designed to move between wardrobes rather than belong to one outfit. Wear ASCENDANT over a button-down, beneath a blazer or denim vest, with jeans, trousers, skirts, or layered over a dress.
