The Connection:
Created in loving memory of Aunt Faye, a minister and woman of deep faith, Faye in Full Bloom began with a deeply personal symbol chosen by her daughter, Mona: the dragonfly.

When asked what the dragonfly represented to her, Mona shared that its outstretched wings and elongated body reminded her of the Cross.

That revelation became the heartbeat of the entire design.

The jeweled dragonfly represents Aunt Faye—her faith still shining, her presence still felt, and the Cross that anchored the life she lived.

The Design Details

The Sacred Bloom:
A brilliant jeweled pink bloom crowns the sculptural knot, introducing the story with beauty, femininity, and abundance. It represents a faith-filled life that did not merely survive where it was planted—it bloomed.

God’s Plan:
“God’s Plan Is Greater” rests beneath the bloom—a reminder that faith (Faye) does not require us to see the entire plan in order to trust the One who holds it.

The Dragonfly & The Cross:
A jeweled iridescent dragonfly becomes the spiritual centerpiece of the design. For Mona, its silhouette echoes the shape of the Cross, transforming the dragonfly from embellishment into a deeply personal representation of the faith that defined her mother’s life.

Its placement emerging from the flowers creates the image of Faye rising from the garden she helped cultivate—still connected to everything she planted.

The Garden:
Dimensional pink embroidered blooms and green foliage grow upward from the base of the denim canvas, with portions intentionally wrapping beyond the front and continuing around the tie. The garden represents the beauty, love, ministry, and seeds of faith Aunt Faye planted throughout her life.

The Scattered Light:
Individual iridescent stones radiate outward from the dragonfly and throughout the garden. They represent the lives Aunt Faye touched and the light she continues to leave in others even in her physical absence.

Each stone catches the light differently—just as every person carries a different reflection of the love, wisdom, prayers, encouragement, and faith she poured into them.
